Empathy with music began early in Eduardo Machado’s life. At the age of 12 he ventured into playing bass and the first sounds strengthened a concrete passion. Aware of his musical gift, Eduardo explored the art by improving himself as a bassist in classes with the renowned professor Celso Pixinga, at Baixo Mania, for two years and at BIT – Bass Institute Technology – in London. He graduated in MPB and Jazz at the Dramatic and Musical Conservatory “Dr. Carlos de Campos”, in Tatuí/SP in 2002.
Currently considered by specialized critics as one of the greatest Brazilian musicians on this instrument, Eduardo expresses dexterity and versatility in his double bass, characteristics preserved in his 30 years as a professional in the field and makes his familiarity with music, harmony through the different musical styles he works with . Whether as a music teacher, guest artist or responsible for important musical projects, Eduardo has been at the forefront of great partnerships and successful presentations over the years.
