Havana Nocturne is the song and emotion of a memory, the sound recreation of a ghostly city that refuses to dispense with its legend and clings as the only possible hold to their voices, to her music. From its conception, supported by the musical production of Paulo Simeón and Kemuel Roig, Aymée Nuviola knew that it would be an emotional journey to the perfect reflection of the spirit and music of a city.

With a minimalist format, led by Roig on piano, and with Lowell Ringel on bass, Hilario Bell on drums, José “Majito” Aguilera on percussion, and Julián Ávila on guitar, Aymée Nuviola travels the streets of the city of shadows and neon lights, while time passes, her time, that of the city.

In Havana Nocturne, Aymée Nuviola returns to the city that is both her own and foreign at the same time; she does it now with an inevitable load of influences, remembrances and contributions that appeal to the universal, but also to her own essence, to the musical strengths that have always sustained her and that tempt the magic of her voice. Walking the streets of a city that no longer exists, her ghosts will remind her at every step of the enormous debts of bolero with that elusive city space, eternally and inevitably escorted by the sea... and the night.
