Brilliant Trio is an all-female collaboration of japanese artists Naoko Tanaka, Kuriko Tsugawa and Rena Toshimitsu. Rena studied jazz drumming under Masahiko Osaka and Dairiki Hara and has been energetically playing in the bands of Seiichi Nakamura and Masanori Okazaki. Kuriko Tsugawa is a bassist who graduated from Berklee College of Music and has been active in the New York music scene for more than 14 years and Naoko Tanaka has been active on major labels and in jazz bands such as Hiroshi Murakami's and Yoshiro Okazaki's. This wonderful trio of talented women is produced by Kyoko Seki of BODY&SOUL, and you can expect to hear a variety of music from standards to originals, including the vocals of Rena and Kuriko.

Brilliant Trio es una colaboración femenina de las artistas japonesas Naoko Tanaka, Kuriko Tsugawa y Rena Toshimitsu. Rena estudió percusión de jazz con Masahiko Osaka y Dairiki Hara y ha tocado activamente en las bandas de Seiichi Nakamura y Masanori Okazaki. ジャズドラムを大坂昌彦、原大力に師事し、中村誠一、岡崎正典氏などのバンドに起用され精力的に活動する利光 玲奈、バークリー音楽大学卒業後、14年間以上本場NYの音楽シーンで活躍するベーシスト、津川久里子、メジャーレーベルでの活動の他、村上寛、岡崎好朗のバンドなどジャズの現場からも引く手数多の田中菜緒子、3人によるステージ。BODY&SOUL 関京子プロデュースの元、スタンダードからオリジナルまで、ヴォーカルも交えた多彩なステージに期待。
