With a strong influence from Brazilian instrumental music, American jazz, and experimental pop, pianist, accordionist, composer, and arranger Guilherme Ribeiro, alongside his Quinteto Garboso, seeks inspiration in the sound of legendary jazz quintets such as Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, VSOP, Jazz Messengers, Horace Silver, among many others.

Featuring odd metrics and rhythmic keys as a striking characteristic in his musical poetic, the repertoire of this concert includes original compositions already recorded in the albums Calmaria (2010) and Tempo (2015), highlighting the samba in 7/4 Malvadeza, the maracatu in 3/4 Verônica, and the ballad with 9 beats Evening Mist, as well as other original unreleased pieces such as the afro blues Garbosa and the sambajazz De Esgueio.

The quintet's sound is consolidated with the participation of great names from the contemporary Brazilian instrumental scene: Daniel D'Alcantara on trumpet and flugelhorn, Vítor Alcântara on saxophones, Cuca Teixeira on drums, and the renowned Sizão Machado on double bass.
