Flamenco Jazz always offers an audience a stirring and pulsating experience. Drawing from the rich musical heritage of his homeland, Jorge Pardo’s latest ensemble invites us to witness the emergence of a new age in Flamenco Jazz. In this new project, “Pulsos,” Pardo’s Spanish flute and saxophone are here inspiringly accompanied by Joao Frade on accordion, Yarel Hernández on bass and Tuur Moens on drums. Together, this exceptional group of artists extends Pardo’s decades long ambition to embrace the world of Jazz whilst at the same time honouring the many nuanced traditions of Flamenco. “Pulsos” presents us with a timeless canvas of music, marbled by the interpretive freedoms honed by a master of their craft.

Partiendo de la rica herencia musical de su tierra natal, la última formación de Jorge Pardo nos invita a presenciar el surgimiento de una nueva era en el Flamenco Jazz. En este nuevo proyecto, “Pulsos”, la flauta española y el saxofón de Pardo están inspirados aquí acompañados por Joao Frade en el acordeón, Yarel Hernández en el bajo y Tuur Moens en la batería.
