VOICES OF HOPE is a charity live concert that started right after the Great East Japan Earthquake and set a goal to continue every year until the children born in the disaster area come of age. This annual spring holiday concert, which was cancelled for two years due to the Corona disaster, resumed last year and will be held for the 11th time this year.

The event, which was created under the leadership of bassist Kengo Nakamura, features 10 singers and is a great success every year, with a variety of original songs, jazz standards, familiar songs, and Christmas songs. This year's event will again feature Dennis Lambert (pf), Gene Jackson (ds), and Nakamura's solid backing support, and is sure to be a full-fledged event that everyone can enjoy. All proceeds will go equally to Iwate Prefecture's "Iwate Learning Hope Fund" and Miyagi Prefecture's "Miyagi Children's Scholarship Fund." Oh! VOICES OF HOPE es un concierto benéfico en vivo que comenzó justo después del Gran Terremoto del Este de Japón y estableció la meta de continuar cada año hasta que los niños nacidos en el área del desastre alcancen la mayoría de edad. Este concierto anual de vacaciones de primavera, que fue cancelado por dos años debido a la pandemia del Cpvid-19, se reanudó el año pasado y se llevará a cabo por undécima vez este año.

東日本大震災直後にスタートし、被災して生まれた子どもたちが成人するまで毎年続けようと目標を掲げたチャリティーライブ「VOICES OF HOPE 」が、2022年12月4日に開催される。毎年GWの恒例だったこのライブも、2年間コロナ禍で中止になり、昨年から年末に再開され今回で11回目となる。
ベーシストの中村健吾が中心となって生まれたこのイベントは、10人のシンガーたちをフィーチャーし、オリジナル曲からジャズ・スタンダード、馴染みの歌謡曲にクリスマス・ソングも交えた盛り沢山の内容で、毎年大盛況。今年もデニス・ランバート(pf)、ジーン・ジャクソン(ds)と中村の堅実なバックサポートで、本格的かつ誰もが楽しめるステージになるだろう。チャージは全て岩手県「いわての学び希望基金」と宮城県の「みやぎこども育英基金」に等分に贈られる。またOh!Jazzからも新規加入一件につき¥1,500の寄付をいたします。
