Nicknamed "Peko-san," Ito, a singer beloved by jazz fans, made her debut in 1982 with the album "Birdland," and her 1989 album "Follow Me" charted in the United States. In '97, he performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland with Makoto Ozone, and has been active both in Japan and abroad. In recent years, he has been taking on new challenges, such as jazz in Tsugaru dialect and a tribute to Hibari Misora, whom he respects.

“ペコさん”の愛称でジャズ・ファンの敬愛を集めるシンガー、伊藤君子が歌声を披露する。アルバム『バードランド』で1982年にデビューした伊藤は、’89年の作品『フォロー・ミー』をアメリカでチャートインさせ、’97年にはスイスのモントルー・ジャズ・フェスティバルに小曽根真と共に出演するなど国内外で活躍。近年は津軽弁でのジャズや、リスペクトする美空ひばりへのトリビュート作を発表し、新たな挑戦を続けている。
