The Legit Quintet is a formidable jazz group comprised of some of the finest jazz musicians in Tokyo. The front line of saxophonists Kazuhito Kondo and Akihiro Yoshimoto are experienced and mature jazz players, and with their be-bop influenced lines and harmonies keep the music moving forward. David Bryant is from New York City originally who now makes Tokyo his home, and is an internationally recognized pianist. A brilliant stylist with interesting and contrasting melodic lines. The bass is held down by one of Tokyo’s best, 30 year Jazz Veteran Daiki Yasukawa, and on drums is once again, from the Herbie Hancock Trio, the marvelous Gene Jackson will keep the joy of the swing in the music.
