Yutaka Shiina(pf) Pat Glynn(b) Junji Hirose(ds)

Known as a bold, yet sensitive pianist, most of Yutaka Shiina life has been based around the piano, starting young, then studying jazz at Kunitachi University. He formed a group at a young age with young phenom Roy Hargrove, "The Jazz Networks", played in 1996 with The Elvin Jones Machine, and recorded a pivotal album in 2015, featuring a large number of his own compositions, Future Swing. The recording features American horn players, and the explosive drummer Rudy Royston. His Tokyo based group promises to be a swinging, innovative performance, as the entire group has the chops to play and execute as they wish. Mr. Shiina's own compositions are sure to delight and bring interest to all.
